横浜モータープールのときには、I do my best. と言ったものだが、もうそれより大分英語も上達し、
「あなたをここに持ってうれしい」
仮主語・真主語のスタイルで「あなたの下、ここで働くことは、
1 Commander : Where do you live now? You don’t live there in the 601st mess hall, do you?
2 Nakano : No, sir I sure don’t. I live in the dormitory outside the base.
3 Commander : That is too far away from here, Sgt. will fix you up your room, and you go ahead to eat at the 601st as you have been (eating).
4 Nakano : That is very fine, sir. I will see the Sgt.
5 Commander : If there is anything you need, tell the Sgt. about it and he will take care of you.
